Good afternoon. I completed my site walk this morning. Overall the project is in good shape — we are still running about 3 days ahead of the Phase II completion target.
One item I need to flag: there is an HVAC duct coordination conflict in the kitchen ceiling cavity. The mechanical sub and GC need to resolve this before proceeding. I have issued an action item and am monitoring. It should not impact the overall June 4 milestone if addressed by end of week.
On Change Order 7 — I have reviewed the GC's pricing. The rerouting is genuinely necessary due to a structural condition that was not visible before demo. At $18,400 I consider the price reasonable for the scope. My recommendation is to approve. Let me know if you have any questions before you decide.
Thank you. Good to know we're still ahead on schedule. On CO-7 — if you're recommending approval, that's sufficient for us. We'll action it in the portal today.
Understood. I will confirm with the GC once your approval comes through and ensure the duct rerouting proceeds without causing further delay. Full inspection report and photos are now in your portal.
